Meeting the Good Faith Estimate requirement

For uninsured and self-pay patients, the No Surprises Act requires a Good Faith Estimate of expected charges when care is scheduled at least three business days ahead, or whenever the patient asks. The Patient Estimator helps your front desk prepare that estimate, and gives insured patients an estimate of what they'll owe under their plan. Your practice remains responsible for reviewing and issuing estimates that meet the Act's requirements.
